Aileen Edwards

Aileen has been the Chief Executive of Second Step for 16 years. Second Step is the leading provider of recovery-orientated support services and housing to more than 550 people with mental health and other related support needs across Bristol and the surrounding West of England area.

Second Step also deliver psychological therapy services through IAPT and also to homeless people, as well as significant volunteering programmes. Our aim is to deliver recovery and well-being opportunities for people with mental health and other related support needs to achieve their hopes and ambitions.

Aileen is also a Director of Recovery South West, a regional recovery organisation focusing on personal narratives.
