Organisation DescriptionKids Activities & BOOTCAMP (KABs) CIC, and their Kab’s Care’s work on therapeutic interventions particularly, aim to create an ethos of self-belief and aspiration with a “can do” attitude for all: to develop children, young people and adults physically, intellectually, socially and emotionally, enabling them to fulfil their aspirations thus improving their life chances. With over 35 years of working with children and young people along with adults, the team offers a range of programmes/sessions in school, after-school and community settings, gyms and leisure centres to provide physical challenges, experiential learning and positive reinforcement to create the right environment for children and young people to be able to talk about their feelings and emotions. They also support the importance of promoting health and well-being through PSHE-type sessions, mindfulness, a wide range of therapies, counselling and group work.
About the opportunity
After a year of growth, KABs are seeking support from a professional to review their HR polices and practice to ensure the business is well grounded as it expands and builds its reputation. KABs want to rest assured that they are meeting their compliance duties with regards staff training and policy – particularly where this relates to their growing counselling practice/service.
Later, this could turn to advice or support to help set up supervisory structures (documentation), training logs, compliance/competency frameworks, an induction package and more to enable them to focus on supporting staff and creating a culture of openness and wellbeing.
