CHT (Community Housing and Therapy) runs residential and non-residential therapeutic environments for adults with severe and enduring mental health problems, predominantly a psychosis or personality disorder. Many have of those referred have a forensic history. We also run a programme for homeless and psychologically traumatised ex-service personnel in partnership with The Tavistock Clinic. CHT’s therapeutic programme provides a structure orientated towards recovery and increased independence.
We employ range of therapeutic interventions in our projects. This has a dramatic impact on relapse rates, reduces future hospital admissions and normally makes possible significant reductions in medication.
