Organisation Description

Asian Family Counselling Service provides culturally sensitive counselling and support for marital, family and individual problems of Asian families, by trained counsellors. The counselling takes the form of one to one counselling, couple counselling and family counselling. This service is provided in the clients own language as well as English. It provides a holistic service to its clients and deals with clients who have multiple and complex needs. All counselling and support is delivered in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner.

About the opportunity

Asian Family Counselling Service would benefit from support to review its technical processes (in a ‘health check’ style approach) particularly with regards their IT systems and how they manage their operations safely and appropriately in the online-delivery environment they still find themselves in, one year on from the start of the pandemic.   This could include looking through their data storage solutions, web service hosting as well as any general administrative/IT streamlining. One way to approach could be to implement a CRM for the charity to further reduce the burden on manual data entry systems and free time for the Director to spend on strategic planning for the organisation’s long-term sustainability.   Towards the end of this piece of work, there would be a need to support the Director with upskilling their expertise in technology in order to make implemented solutions sustainable for the organisation to take back in-house.
