Accessibility statement

This statement applies to the website of the Association of Mental Health Providers at amhp.org.uk. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website.

How accessible this website is

The site is built to work with keyboards, screen readers and browser zoom: pages have a logical heading order, links say where they lead, pictures carry text alternatives, forms have labels, colours keep a clear contrast, and nothing moves or flashes without a way to stop it. We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

Some content may be harder to use: older PDF documents in the publications library were not all created with accessibility in mind, films carry captions but not audio description, and some third-party services we link to (the Data Observatory maps and dashboards, the members’ application form) have their own accessibility statements.

What to do if you cannot access part of this website

If you need information on this website in a different format – a large-print or accessible PDF, plain text or an audio recording – please contact us and tell us what you need. We will consider your request and get back to you.

Reporting accessibility problems

We are always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. If you find a problem not listed here, or think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact us with the address of the page and a short description of what went wrong.

Enforcement procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 in Great Britain. If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
