Providers Unite: #StrongerTogether
Providers Unite is a grassroots coalition of community care and support providers from across the UK, coming together to ensure the survival and sustainability of the social care sector.
United in our mission to amplify the voices of providers at every level of government, we're working to secure a brighter future for adult care services.
The social care sector is facing significant underfunding, and the latest Autumn Budget announcements have added to financial pressure. According to OBR data, these changes could cost providers an estimated £800 per employee, with the real impact likely exceeding £2 billion, yet only £880 million has been allocated to local government social care funding.
We need your help. Sign our collective letter to Chancellor Rachel Reeves, calling for an immediate review of these measures and exemptions like those for the NHS.
Additionally, the Association created a letter template to assist providers in requesting fair fee uplifts for 2025/26. This letter addresses mounting financial pressures, including the 6.7% increase in the National Living Wage and higher National Insurance contributions. Our template also supports price adjustments based on Change of Law clauses and highlights local authorities' responsibilities under the Care Act 2014.
