Joint Letter to Damian Green MP on the Future of Attendance Allowance

MHPF has signed a joint letter with the Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO), alongside 27 other signatories, highlighting the future of Attendance Allowance, and to emphasise the positive contribution it currently makes to older disabled people and their families and carers, and our concerns about proposals to transfer responsibility for the benefit to local authorities.

The letter is addressed to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Secretary of State for Health, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions (with Penny Mordaunt MP, Minister of State for Disabled People, Health and Work ccd in), and the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.
