The Association of Mental Health Providers is proud to announce that it has joined Health Equals as a supporter, further strengthening our shared commitment to tackling the inequalities that shape people’s health and wellbeing across the UK.

As the only representative organisation for the VCSE mental health sector, the Association represents over 300 charities delivering vital services to over 8 million people every year. Our work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health care and support, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Through our data mapping project, the Association has developed groundbreaking mapping tools to highlight gaps in mental health service provision alongside demographic information – leading to more equitable, data-driven decisions across the system. Alongside this, our #MHEqualityNow campaign calls for urgent action to support underfunded community mental health services, particularly for marginalised groups disproportionately affected by poverty, housing, and cost-of-living pressures. These efforts directly align with Health Equals’ mission to tackle the wider factors that shape people’s health, including mental health.
