Association of Mental Health Providers is looking for a new Chair

Association of Mental Health Providers are the leading representative body for voluntary and community sector mental health organisations in England and Wales. We represent our membership of small, medium and large providers – from locally focused to regional and national organisations with the purpose of providing a professional platform on which the vital work of all our members can be seen and heard.

At this exciting stage in our development, we are seeking an independent chair to lead the Board, comprising elected member Chief Executives, and support our staff to the next stage in our development.

Major mental health charities such as Mind, Rethink, Making Space, Richmond Fellowship, Together, and many more are working together to promote recovery and user focused services.

We are seeking a strategic, visionary leader with high profile experience in public service delivery, especially health and social care. Help us raise the contribution of our sector, take forward our leading and innovative work, and campaign for the most effective services.

Applications close at 17:00, 25th June 2017

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to join the current board members at their next meeting on the afternoon of 18th July. A formal interview will follow at a later date.
