Joint Letter to Times on Social Care Funding

Kathy joined CEOs from five other leading mental health charities to write to the Times in response to the article entitled “Social care on brink of collapse as it faces £7bn-a-year shortfall” on 22 November, written in light of the Commons Health and Social Care Committee report. Our joint letter in response, on 24 October, highlighted the importance of social care for those experiencing mental health conditions and outlined the need for reform and funding of the social care sector, similar to the NHS through the Long Term Plan.
