Action for Aspergers

Action for Asperger’s has two aims. The first is to counsel people whose lives are distressed or upset by a son, daughter, spouse or friend with Asperger’s Syndrome. It is likely that when some receives a diagnoses of Asperger’s Syndrome for their child, they can become depressed at the difficulties that child might have to face. It can also be very difficult for people to communicate with an Asperger’s Syndrome person in the literal, exact and precise way required.

The charity’s second aim is to provide a counselling and emotional support service for any child, adolescent or adult who has Asperger’s Syndrome.This service includes one-to-one counselling, a helpline and text service for emotional support.
