The Lateef Project

The Lateef Project has been running for 14 years. We provide a bespoke primary care service in several languages, addressing the common mental health needs of Muslims aged 12 and above in the areas we serve. We believe that appropriate health service provision should be free at the point of use, so clients do not pay for counselling and psychotherapy. Our service uses a faith-based therapeutic model that is both evidence-based and trauma-informed. At present, our provision is provided via the Internet though we have worked across formats.
