Message from Chief Executive – World Mental Health Day
As we see the great strides that have already been made towards better equality and rights for people experiencing mental health needs, we know there is still a long way to go to get true parity and value.
Listening to people and understanding what matters is essential. Delivering services to address what is important is a priority for the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector: understanding what supports meaningful occupations; the importance of a settled home; the importance of communities and networks; and the right treatment at the right time.
On World Mental Health Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to continue to work together to achieve better mental health and wellbeing for all, and work in true coproduction to achieve this.
