Sustainability

The voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector is highly informed and equipped to deliver and sustain quality services for people with mental health problems.

Association of Mental Health Providers is dedicated to support of the development of the voluntary and community sector by ensuring the growth and continuation of services which effectively meet the needs of individuals’, their mental health and well-being. By working collaboratively, both with members and external organisations on both a local and national level, The Association will continue to advocate for greater service delivery by the voluntary and community sector.

The sustainability and growth of the sector is crucial to the improvement in support to people with mental health problems and the Association will be working in areas important to our members. These include improvements to the contracting and commissioning of mental health services, developments in workforce recruitment and retention and championing the importance of the voluntary and community sector across health and social care service provision.
