Programmes
Association of Mental Health Providers is the lead delivery partner for two national programmes focusing on the sustainability of the VCSE mental health sector. We have been selected due to our position as the leading independent representative body and for the strength of our national infrastructure.
The work of the sector was highlighted in recent NHS Benchmarking data reviewing community mental health service provision, which showed that around 1.5 million people accessed CCG-commissioned mental health support from the VCSE sector. Whilst being committed to supporting the people that use their services, the mental health VCSE sector continues to face challenges in delivering services and operates under constraints and it is vital that service providers working in the community are supported to enable them to continue delivering essential, life-saving services to vulnerable people who need it most.
