Association of Mental Health Providers is the leading representative body for voluntary and community sector mental health organisations in England and Wales. We represent our membership of small, medium and large providers – from locally focused to regional and national organisations with the purpose of providing a professional platform on which the vital work of all our members can be seen and heard.

Major mental health charities such as Rethink Mental Illness, Making Space, Richmond Fellowship, Together, Mind, and many more are working together to promote recovery and user-focused services.

At this exciting stage in our development, we are seeking individuals to work with their peers to set the strategic direction of The Association, to monitor delivery of our charitable objectives, to ensure good governance, and to support our staff as we continue to move forward.

We are seeking strategic and visionary leaders to help us raise the contribution of our sector, take forward our leading and innovative work, and campaign for the most effective services.

With such a diverse membership, The Association is keen to ensure that our Board properly reflects the range of services provided by our members and the communities it serves. Therefore, we are particularly keen to receive applications from individuals from a BAME, legal, research and development, and/or lived experience background.

An application pack which includes the person specification and job description is attached. If you have any queries, please contact Dania Hanif. The deadline for applications is 17:00 on Friday 9 February 2018.
