Mental Health in Prisons
This Health and Wellbeing Alliance project aims to develop a model for a ‘whole prison approach’ to good mental health for people in prison, in particular for those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities and other equalities groups; and how the voluntary sector can contribute to achieving this.
This survey provides an opportunity for the voluntary sector to submit views on what works in supporting good mental health while in prison. We would like to identify any existing examples of good practice; other things you feel would help; as well as any barriers or trigger points which impact on mental health in prison.
