Webinar with NSUN – Service Users’ Manifesto for Mental Health
Webinar Date: Thursday 27 July 2017
Delivered by: Sarah Yiannoulou and Emma Ormerod
The National Survivor User Network (NSUN) is an independent, service-user-led charity that connects people with experience of mental health issues to give people a stronger voice in shaping policy and services. Just before the 2017 General Election, NSUN published its 2017 Manifesto. The Manifesto draws together people’s aspirations, intentions and key demands with regard to mental health policy and practice. This unique document outlines the key current issues in mental health from the perspective of people with lived experience. It conveys the views and experiences of NSUN’s members and reflects their radical aspirations. In this webinar, Sarah Yiannoullou, Managing Director of NSUN, will take us through the development of the manifesto, and its key findings.
